It is important to apply the holistic management approach to integrate both hard and soft business elements to improve overall business competency.

The business paradigm shift is multidimensional expansion; it's important to gain an in-depth understanding of the variety of business issues, and walk through the different phases of changes. Organizational management should apply critical thinking to understand the variety of business situations, and manage the business in a more structural way. They need to take an overarching approach that has to dig underneath the surface, integrate both hard and soft business elements for improving long-term organizational competency and reaching the high-level of business maturity.

It’s crucial to apply critical reasoning skills to enforce information clarity, accuracy, consistency for making sound judgment: Blind faith = blind assumptions = unconscious biases. Critical Thinking is associated with the cognitive disciplines that steer people away from believing falsehoods, and steering people toward the truth. Technically, Critical Thinking is to combine different thought processes, gather a mass of information to do rational analysis; make logical reasoning via connection, discernment. It involves analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and producing coherent argumentation analysis.

To improve organizational effectiveness and performance, the highly effective corporations need to embed the power of information in its fiber to weave business competencies, to ensure it is part of the digital mechanism and process to improve business responsiveness and speed. An effective information management system enables companies to integrate critical components of a smart platform, which is “open,” allowing information exchange and participant involvement

It’s important to take an overarching approach that has to dig underneath the surface of businesses, deal with the “pale, stale, and failing” business pattern properly: Due to rapid changes and overwhelming growth of information, business vision could be cloudy pale, and make the organization “lost in the dark” if the management is not well prepared for the upcoming disruptions. Pale vision usually happens at every side of the fence, commercial and technical, under the silo walls and divided discipline. Business management needs to collect feedback, do more accurate forecasting.

If businesses fail to achieve high performance results, there is false information, and stale knowledge which stifles business transformation. More attention needs to be placed on the conditions that allow information to flow and generate value and identify failing signals of business management; such as, value proposition failed to be translated into meaningful operational deliverables, people disengagement, or customer dissatisfaction. The business management needs to do an objective information analysis of poor performance results; identify symptoms of disconnected or distant layers of business management. So they are able to lubricate business relationships, harness collaboration, and accelerate business performance.

It’s critical to improve business management performance by synergizing, personalizing, and serializing: Business exploration is all about planning, investing, designing, developing, operating, consolidating, integrating, securing, modernizing, optimizing, etc. Organizational management has to navigate largely uncharted territories for leading business forward, sometimes set new or radically different trajectories for business development. They should fine tune business processes, structures, or talent to build dynamic business capabilities and create business synergy.

Organizations today strive to become more people-centric; great personalization leads to better understanding by designing good applications or solutions. If traditional organizations were operated through linear logic perhaps working ok in the considerable static and silo industrial age. But it has limitations to solving complex problems in a hyperconnected digital dynamic. They need to take a series of actions, to improve business agility, performance, and people-centricity.

Businesses today are not just working within the industry, but also working across the business ecosystem. The business becomes more successful when the corresponding learning curve has reduced uncertainty to the point, and they become agiler to drive changes.
