Reinventing an innovative society is not an overnight phenomenon, but a long-term planning and years’ structural efforts.

When we jump into the “VUCA” normality, the probability of surprising emergent properties bring unprecedented opportunities and risks to organizations across industrial sectors today. Our intention to change is to make a better future; evaluating the past can certainly lead us to a good insight towards the future. 

Our society's core values, common beliefs, and clearly defined goals drive collective learning and development with its own pace and influence.

Rapid change, abundant knowledge, and diversified global society requires more advanced mindsets and paradigms: Contemporary societies are diverse and dynamic; people create conflicts between different groups that have their own senses of belief, reality, common sense or explicit knowledge. So there is no surprise that disagreements and antagonisms arise between those groups. Often, it causes individuals or the group of people to rationalize their own sense of reality by ignoring others’ viewpoints.

It’s crucial to increase cross-boundary conversations, shape advanced mindsets; accept that influence is attainable, but control is not. It takes effort to build trust that can only be built in a societal environment conducive to ideal-seeking attitude and behavior. In fact, tolerance of people’s differences gives us the ability to understand other points of view; tenacity could help to lead towards the vision, and keep things on track, etc, to create a new paradigm.

Gain contextual understanding of the societal environment, encourage innovation but discourage unhealthy competition: Society is an organization that belongs to us and the way to change it is to modify our individual, group, and collective practices to fix problems, engage fellow citizens to respect each other, and participate in change proactively.

The modern society is a shared-space that encompasses the organization with which it interacts with each other, hopefully co-generate values, without causing too many unnecessary pains. Real societal progress is made through the work of foreseeable leaders and progressive professionals who can figure out how to trend the future, to unleash collective human potential.

Global society is a hyper-connected and interdependent ecosystem in which multi-industrial collaborations are encouraged to co-solve complex problems: People can share knowledge and co-solve a variety of problems with common interest. However, our society is far away from fully digitized and globalized yet. It's important to build an innovative culture, this only happens when the inclusiveness mindset is available to the top leadership team and the processes become more integral to lubricate collaboration.

By understanding society via an interdisciplinary lens, integrating resources for increasing management agility, we can truly work collaboratively to catalyze growth, accelerate the evolution of humanity, and build a unified, prosperous and peaceful society.

The industrial, geographical boundaries are considerably loosened up; it’s important to reimagine, re-architect an innovative society via an expanded lens, and hold on to a strong belief that collective progress leads to continuous societal advancement.
